visitor friendly, the grounds are great, and the playground upgrades are much appreciated by the kiddos. I also love the splash pad and the historic buildings, and the lights in winter are incredible! This place is a gem in the Chippewa Valley.

I grew up in Chippewa Falls and have been to this park a ton. They have continued to add new attractions over the year and I love the size of the park. They have a petting zoo, animal exhibits, a water area for kids, they have plenty of pavilions and tables for picnics. Some good walking trails as well.

Fun place to bring the kids, and it's free. Donations are always welcomed and appreciated. Places to picnic. Nice pond with an interesting assortment of ducks, geese, and I think we saw a swan farther back. You can walk by the cages, pet and feed some of the animals, and drive through the park to see others. I've never seen it in person, but around Christmas, they have it decorated in lights that my grown children have gone to see and have enjoyed.

Best "small" zoo around! The new additions are

The larger animals seem uncared for. There is no stimulation in their cages, nothing to keep their minds busy and active. The areas they live in are VERY small. There is a lot of area however for humans to walk around and it is free but be aware that there is no tables to sit at, no trash cans and no bathrooms available at anytime. I went to see the Christmas display and was really disappointed to see how little eco friendly the place was and the lack of ethnic diversity is astounding. Overall not worth the time.

Free zoo with lots of cool animals including bears, tigers, and hyenas. Nice playground. This is a good place to spend a summer day. Outstanding Christmas light display as well.
