Horrible experience with Prevea in Chippewas Falls. I went in for kidney stone pain. I was in urgent care for about 2 and a half hours, and only spent about a total of 15 min with the Nurse and Nurse Practioner during that entire time. They took x-rays and said I do have a kidney stone, and the Practioner said she would call in a script for an anti inflamitory drug that is (according to my pharmacist, bad for your kidneys and bad for people with high blood pressure (which I have issues with both) and can't be taken longer then 5 days. Then when I went to check out of Urgent Care, they couldn't figure out their billing system, told me to pay $150 just to go to urgent care, and said they would mail me a bill for the rest as I sat there for about 20 min waiting for them to figure it out. I then went to Walmart and sat there waiting for the script. Prevea forgot to call it in. I finally called them about 2 hours later so she called in this script that would last me 3 days! I am pretty sure you don't pass a stone in 3 days. I called back after the 4th day to let them know I still have the stone, and I still have pain and they told me to see my regular doctor or go to the ER for something stronger. What was my point of even going there if they are not going to treat me for my issue. I don't have insurance so all of this is already going to cost me a lot, but now they want me to spend money on another DR bill so I can get something that would break up the stone, and something for pain. I have had stones before and I have never been treated so poorly. They told me to take ibprofren and tylonol, as if I already havent been doing that for the past month that I have been in pain!! POOR SERVICE ALL AROUND!
