Fantastic place to visit. Our guide, Ken was very knowledgeable. Excellent tour. The beer samples were great and five for 5 dollars plus a very sample size glass. The tours start at Leinie Lodge. The lodge also has the beer samples and a wide assortment of souvenirs. Great way to spend 2 to 3 hours if you have a chance to stop in Chippewa, Wisconsin.
Finally took the tour after 5 years of living here. What a shame we waited so long. The tour was incredibly fascinating for a beer enthusiast like me. Next time we will have to go during the week tho, to see it all it action. The actual lodge is incredibly comfortable and woodsy, if a little short on seating. And they charge typical "gift store" prices, but their merch is top notch. The hoodies are better than most popular name brands. Really fun way to spend a day.
Love the beer tasting. Tried the 5 samples. They were great. I was disappointed that they don't offer food. There are cheese curds, meat sticks, etc., but I think offering simple sandwiches, brats or other food along that line would really enhance the experience. It's a beautiful space.
Great place for beer lovers. $5 gets you 5 - 5oz samples and they have many delicious beers to choose from (personal favorite is Oktoberfest). While sampling you can browse the gift shop, belly up to the bar, lounge by a fire or sit outside and take in the fresh Wisconsin air. The Pride of Chippewa Falls indeed.
